The problem with both domestic and international welfare is that it robs everyone involved of their personal freedom. Personal freedom (freedom of choice) is central to God’s plan, as well as wealth creation.
In regards to foreign aid of any type Ron Paul said this, “We take money from poor people in rich countries and give it to rich people in poor countries.”
Government intervention in the private market place has never, or never will work. Just as stated above it creates less freedom, more poverty, and destroys individual liberty.
