Manny Pacquiao Dedicated his Fight with Rios for Haiyan’s Victims and Won

Earlier Manny Pacquiao has been telling everyone that his fight with Rios is dedicated for the victims of typhoon Haiyan. Well the Philippines is again thankful and proud of him today. An unanimous decision made him winner over Brandon Rios of Mexico.

It was an emotional victory for Pacquiao as his country wrestle to regain from the destructive super typhoon that killed 5,200 as of November 23, 2025 according to The Telegraph.

After two consecutive losses, Pacquiao’s victory over Rios is a proof that he’s still in shape and ready to face more challengers in the future. The scorecards shown 120-108, 119-109 and 118-110 at The Venetian casino in Macau making him the WBO international welterweight champion.

The People’s champ noted while yet in the ring “This is not about my comeback,” he continued “My victory is a symbol of my people’s comeback from a natural disaster and a natural tragedy.”
