5 Easy Tricks to Double Your Facebook Posts’ Reach

If you are managing a Facebook page you must have already known the exact feeling when no one Likes or Shares or leave Comments on your carefully-thought-of post. It makes you ask “how can my fun and interesting post not get the buzz it deserves?”.

CaptureThe key is literally in your posts’ reach. You want to maximize your every posts’ reach so that they land on the timelines of users who has not subscribed to your updates.

There are effective ways to spread your Facebook posts to a larger audience for a better exposure of your business. But of course, it will require efforts, skills and careful planning. Read on and apply these five easy tricks to double your Facebook posts’ reach.

1. Time Your Posts

Though randomly publishing posts is better than not posting anything at all, this move will only get you so far. Timing is crucial! Be ahead of the game by familiarizing your self with your target audience’s Facebook habits and intent to post during busy hours. Use the “schedule post” feature available on your Facebook page or a 3rd party app like Buffer to schedule your posts so you won’t miss the rush.

2. Use Call to Action

Like a business website that converts a visitor into a paying customer through a CTA (call to action), you too must invite people to like, share or comment on your post. By adding the words like “like and share this post if..” or ask them questions. Whenever your Facebook post receives a like, share or comment, a new post also generates and is being shared on these users’ timeline. If a Facebook user that liked your post have let’s say 5oo friends that follow him then all his 500 followers will also see your post. Now that’s quite an exposure don’t you think.

3. Use Images

Most of us would rather look at an image or watch a video clip instead of reading bunch of words. Make your post standout from all the noise that the Facebook timeline is feeding its users. You can achieve this by posting visuals that will attract the viewer’s gaze. Use images that are funny, impressive or even unusual. See these Facebook posts I shared for examples.

5. Use Friendly Facebook page settings.

As I have said in my old blog posts, people login to Facebook to “socialize”, it is why its called a Social Media site. To get people talking to you and about you, set your Facebook page wherein people can tag themeselves or their friends in your posts. Or perhaps allow them to post to your page.
