A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE ON HOW TO SIGNUP ON SITEGROUND
Fortunately, I stumbled upon SiteGround. A hosting provider that have dedicated servers and staffs just for WordPress websites.
I’ve been meaning to signup for SG’s service but I had to be sure first if it’s the right hosting for my websites. After six or seven months of testing their chat support for some of my web design clients and hearing testimonials from fellow WordPress developers and enthusiasts, I finally gave in. Officially, today December 4, 2017, all my websites are now running on SiteGround.
For those of you who are new to SiteGround I have here a step-by-step guide on how to signup to their service. Please note that I’m using my affiliate link and I make commissions for every purchases using it.
1. Choose your hosting plan
SiteGround has three plans and one can sign for any of them with a great discount through my affiliate link.
- The StartUp plan is perfect for people with one website that are starting now
- The GrowBig plan is a great value for money offer, including the option for multiple websites and the SuperCacher that greatly improves a WordPress and Joomla website speed
- The GoGeek plan is perfect for people with e-commerce and larger sites, or more geeky development needs like staging and GIT integration
All plans include free domain registration.
Step 2. Choosing Domain
Step 3. Review and Complete
Unlike many other hosting providers, like HG, SiteGround’s discount applies to any of the initial periods chosen during the sign up process. You can get the low price for the one year period compare to other providers where the lowest monthly price applies only for the longest period.
Oh did I mentioned that you can try their service for just month with no strings attached? For only $14.95 that’s what I actually did!
The one last thing that I think I need to mention and this is what I really liked with SG is that their tech support transferred ALL my websites from my former hosting providers to theirs FOR FREE. After 24 hours all my websites had been moved successfully.

Yes siteground is indeed the best host, I have been with them for 8 years and have been take very good care of in each and every aspect.
