It All Starts with the Imagination

They said that the best thing in life is free. I cannot think of anything for free in this world but to imagine. Our imaginations can take us anywhere we want to go, can give us anything we want.

There are people who thought that imagination is just for kids. Well it probably is, the fact that we love to imagine things when we were yet kids made us happy, artistic and satisfied. Are not these the type of things that we want in life, to be happy, artistic and satisfied? Why then do we stopped imagining, the future we want, the life we want to experience, the good things we want to create.

Many of the great things we are all experiencing these days (and will experience in the future) are nothing but products of the creative and wild imaginations of the people from the past. The mobile phones, the internet, the satellite, your car, the flip flops you love to wear during summer etc. The only difference is that these things became reality because those who imagined them get to work and their imagination became the reality.

So find your inner desires (good ones) and imagine how happy your life would be if you have it. Draw it, write it, talk about it, blog about it or even put it on videos. Like what you will see below.

Here is a video presentation of Jo-Ann’s dream house, the one that she always imagines. If this kind of video editing is what you are looking for then please feel free to check my other works here.

Great points BO! The first step to achieving a goal is to visualize it - use your imagination to picture it.

Don’t just think “Wow if I was successful I’d be so happy.” Sit back, clear your head of thoughts and imagine what your day would be like if you were successful. What time would you wake up? What would you do? What would your schedule be.

Picture it all and it will help you create it!

Imagination knows no boundaries nor limitations. It is the first spark that ignites the human mind towards success. They are the reasons why now is the present and will hone the future of tomorrow. Great insights Bo!

I think the education system and society destroy kids’ natural imagination. You gotta become a little kid again and then the creativity starts to flow. Good post!

This is beautiful Bo! I also agree with Adam above. The single most powerful tool is our imagination. But a person must know how it works. If your goal is to buy your dream house, imagine yourself in that house. How it feels to be in it. This visualization will inspire and motivate you to get up and do the work. Will you achieve your goals in the current situation you’re in? Will running a successful work-at-home business help you achieve your goals? If so, they should be all the motivation you need to get up and put in some hard work. Therefore, imagine as well how you can achieve your dreams.

Great post. I think when we stop using our imagination our progress begins to slow down.
