Make a Living Online – Writing Articles Part 1

Aug 24, 2012

I have been receiving questions both through email and on Facebook, Among the many ways to earn online, what is the easiest one in your opinion. The truth is this is the same question I have in mind back in 2010. And the answer had led me to the business I now have – Your Offshore Team | Virtual Assistant Philippines.

To those who are first time here, make sure to visit this post and be inspired by some people who already are making money online.

What I am about to share in this post is my personal system, a secret sauce I must say. This post is specifically written for Filipinos who are wanting to make a living online. When I say ALL, I mean ALL the stuff you are about to read from here are proven and are no scam. Keep in mind that there is no such thing as make money quick online. If you want to have success and seriously make a living online continuous learning, hard-work, common sense and consistency are necessary. And you will be needing all those in what I am about to reveal here.

Let’s start!

What to expect:

  • Chapter 1: Earn Through Article Writing – Selling your Articles
  • Chapter 2: How to Write an Article

Chapter 1: Earn Through Article Writing – Selling your Articles

You will learn here where to find people that are willing to pay 2$ to 8$ per 400 to 600 word article, that is around Php 175 to Php 350, some are even higher. That is per article, which means the more articles you write, the more money you make! A lot of times these people are actually willing to hire you as an article writer if you are really good at it!

My first and foremost recommendation is to visit onlinejobs.ph. The site OnlineJobs.ph has partnered with thousands of companies in the US, Australia, Singapore, Canada, the UK and other English speaking countries who are looking to hire Filipinos for full-time or part-time work.

You must create an account on the site so that both the job posting and the contact information can be viewed. Without an account you cannot view the contact information! See the image below to better understand.

You do not need to be a scientist to learn how to contact these people. Contact them by email and show confidence while being polite. Here is an example of an email that I used.

This is just a sample, be creative and honest is the key to land on an article writing career.

  2. Freelancer.com
  3. BestJobs.ph
  4. JobsOnline.ph
  5. Elance.com

Alright this is all for now, wait for my next post wherein we will discuss the 2nd Chapter, How to Write an Article. Included in the 2nd part are;

  • How to write an article that you are not familiar with.
  • How to format the article the SEO way. (I will do a different post about SEO soon)
  • How do you get paid.
  • Plus you don’t wanna miss a possible passive income stream idea out of this topic we had just discussed.

Now practice that writing skill by leaving your comments and/or questions right here below and I will do my best to answer them all.

PS
