5 Free iPad apps to Help you Learn, Connect and make Business

Nov 24, 2013

Apple’s iPad with some free apps has somehow made my life better; I managed to close business deals because I have one, I managed to work while travelling, and I was able to attend other activities while still being connected with my Virtual Assistants. I have here a list of free iPad apps that will better your life either as a student or as a professional.

Facebook (social networking)

Facebook is so far the most popular social network today and its app for iPad has always been one of the most downloaded free apps. The Facebook app allows you to update your status, view photos, “like” your friend’s posts and check into your location. You can also stay updated through your news-feed, messages, events, groups, pages, chat, and upload videos and photos, and so much more.

Twitter (social networking)

As I said earlier I made some business with my iPad, thanks to Twitter. This free, official Twitter app for iPad is a great way to find people that are looking for your product or service. You can follow, send direct message or a twit and offer what you have to offer. Through twitter you can also find celebrities and interesting internet people to follow, and trending topics to get involved with. Follow me on Twitter here.

LinkedIn (social networking)

Wanting to be a bit professional? Then use LinkedIn app for iPad, your on-the-go access to your professional associates.

Skype (Instant Messages and communications)

I can’t imagine a world today without Skype (well maybe I can if I’ll try LOL). iPad’s Skype allows you to make free audio and video calls and exchange text messages or chats from your iPad to other IOS, Windows and Android mobile devices and million more Skype users.

Khan Academy (educational)

I was introduced to Khan Academy by my wife when she was yet in college and I fell in-love with its program and mission. With the Khan Academy app for the iPad, you will have free access to over 2,000 plus video tutorials on topics ranging from kindergarten, mathematics, history, advanced science and much more.

These are my favorites and the ones that helped me. Is your favorite iPad app also in my list? Or do you have some app that you like to share? Share your comments below.
